In PSOhub one must be defined as a team member in order to book time and/or expenses towards a project.
You can also:
add multiple members with the same role in the same project.
Have one person with multiple roles in the same project.
Add a team member
Navigate to the Team tab of your project. You will find here two options:
Add Member
More Button
Add multiple members
Add Guest
Note: For more information on - how to add and or how to delete Guest accounts please read the related article.
ADD MEMBER
Select single users based on roles or employee
You can select your team members based on roles or on employees.
If you first choose a role and click the drop down arrow of the field Member, PSOhub will display the list of people who have this role assigned to them.
If you first choose an employee (via the field Member) and click the drop down arrow of the field related to Role, PSOhub will display the list of roles assigned to this person.
As soon as you select a role, the standard rate of this role will be displayed in the field Rate. You can overwrite this rate should it be different for this project.
Active Team Member versus Inactive
By default, once you select a team member, he/she will be set as Active and will be able to book time and/or expenses towards the project.
If a team member leaves a project and has already booked time and/or expenses towards the project you won't be able to remove him/her from the project. You will need to uncheck the box Active in order to prevent this person to see the project and book entries towards it.
Send alert
If you leverage budget alerts, you can also check the function "Send Alert" of a team member. When the used budget is over the percentage(s) defined at the contract line, PSOhub will send an email to this person as well as display a message in the Activities of the Employee's dashboard.
Once you have selected a team member and defined the fields Rate, Active and Send alert, you can go ahead and hit Save.
ADD MULTIPLE MEMBERS
Select multiple members at once
If you leave the field Select a role empty and click the drop down arrow of the field Members, PSOhub will display the list of all the users in the organization. You can select the ones that you want by checking the box next to their name or you can leverage the option Select All to select them all; once you are done hit Save.
PSOhub will add all the users to the project's team with the first role it finds that is assigned to the user (alphabetical order). You can change that role as well as the rate should you want to.
If you first select a role and then click the dropdown arrow of the field Member, then PSOhub will only display the people with that role in your organization. You can select the ones that you want by checking the box next to their name or you can leverage the option Select All to select them all; once you are done hit Save.
The members will be added to the project's team.
Remove a team member
You can add and remove team members any given time at the Proposal, Sent and Signed stage of a project. Once your project is set to Active, you will still be able to remove a team member as long as this person hasn't booked any entries towards it. If this person has already booked entries, you can simply deactivate him/her and he/she won't have access to the project for time/expense entry.
To remove a team member simply click the member's name and in the next window hit Delete.
PSOhub will display a message asking that you confirm your action. Hit Proceed.
This person will be removed from the project's team.
