Understand the layout of the Timesheet Grid
To access the Timesheet grid, choose from the menu Time & Expenses > Timesheet grid.
The Timesheet Grid looks as follows:
In the top-left of the screen: the name of the user.
In the top-centre of the screen:
The hours registered this week / the number of hours per week (for that user. This information is defined at the user level under the User Management settings). The total hours registered that week should also match the hours at the bottom of the timesheet grid..
The percentage of utilization of the user for the week. This calculation is based on time booked towards customer projects (it will exclude internal projects, vacation time and absence) divided by the number of hours per week of the employee. A user's utilization is defined in the User Management settings and the Capacity tab.
In the top-right of the screen:
Retrieve planning: Retrieves all planned hours from the resource planning of active projects for the user to manage and book their time efficiently.
βCopy previous week: This will allow you to copy the contract lines and roles of the time entries booked in the previous week, It will not bring over the number of hours or descriptions.
βAdd new line: This will allow you to book time (against a Project, Absence, Holiday or Internal project) for the displayed week.
Important: Your time entries are automatically saved using Auto-save.
By default, PSOhub will display the current week but you can navigate to previous of next weeks via the left and right arrows.
The options Work week / Week will switch the timesheet from a week view to a full week view and allow you to book time during the weekend.
The option Classic / Grouped view allows you to switch between the Classic view to display each time entry as a list or, the Groups view that will group time entries by project.
Classic view
The Classic view lists each time entry as they are added to the timesheet grid.
Grouped view
The Group view will group each time entry by the project they belong to. You can expand each project by clicking on the + button to reveal the time entries. This view is most recommend for users working on multiple projects and multiple contract lines.
Delete time entries
Time entries can be deleted by clicking on the bin icon at the end of the line.
The following warning message will appear:
If you are sure, click Proceed to remove the time entry from the Classic and Grouped views.
