Configuration

Field

Description

Timesheet Required

This field has dual function:

Switch this on if this user needs to log their hours each week. This will then:

  • be leveraged in the Resources dashboard where users are flagged who have not logged their hours.

  • also be used in the Personal dashboard, under the My activities section. Here, an activity is set up for the user to complete their missing timesheets. The missing hours are marked as a deep link.

If you want PSOhub to calculate the % of utilization of a resource, you will also want this feature to be switched on. This will then:

  • Display the % of Utilization per week of this user (based on hours booked/hours on external projects per week).

  • Display the % of Utilization of this resource as of today in the Personal dashboard and the Resources dashboard.

Start date timesheet registration

This is the date from which a user can begin entering time entries

Exclude from resource and task capacity

This relates to Capacity and Resource Planning. By selecting Yes, the user will no longer be added to the Capacity Overview or Resource Planning

Days of Holiday

The number of statutory holidays for the team member. This will be used for the purposes of dashboards

Is external

This is only used for reporting purposes and relates to how users are shown in the Odata feed

Capacity

By default, PSOhub has equally divided per day the number specified in the field Working Hours when you invited the resource.

You can however define a different schedule for this user; e.g. a 3-day work week or even alternating week. Once you've updated the capacity of this resource, click the Save button.

Click on the Tour below to have an overview of how to define the capacity of a resource in PSOhub.
