Book time while managing your tasks

In PSOhub, you can book time towards a task via multiple options (timesheet Calendar, Timesheet Grid, etc.). This article will focus on how you can book time directly on a Task via My Tasks or via a Plan.

Whether you are in My Tasks or in the Plan of your task, hovering over a task will display a clock icon indicating that you can book time on that task.

If no clock is displayed, it may be that this task is dependent on another task not yet completed or that this task is in a plan not linked to any project.

From My Tasks/List view of a plan

From the board view of a plan

Click on the clock icon and you will get the option to book hours directly or to start a timer.

With Log hours, PSOhub will open a new screen where you can enter the date, quantity of hours and a description. You will also see the project, contract line and role that will be used for this time entry; you can modify this information if you click on the green link. Once you are done, simply click Save.

Note: You will want to specify the time spent in hours, i.e. 30 minutes = 0.50 hours, 15 minutes = 0.25 hours.

With Start Timer, PSOhub will automatically start a timer. Once again you will see the project, contract line and role that will be used for this time entry; you can modify this information if you click on the green line.

Once you are done with working on this task, simply click Stop. PSOhub will bring you back to the previous screen and display your time entry. You can modify the time entry by clicking on the line.

Note: PSOhub will present the time entry in hours, i.e. 30 minutes = 0.50 hours.

When the time has been booked, the Used hours will be displayed:
