The project workload is about overseeing the planned versus used hours and tasks.

Choose from the menu Resources and Project Workload:

The left side of the page displays the following information:

  • Project: All projects displayed here are those projects which have a workload sheet defined and/or a workload sheet has been accessed at project level.

  • Hours used: Will display the % of total hours used per project.

By default, the Amount view is displayed.

This view displays the value of all the hours booked by every resource per month versus the planned hours and the sub total is calculated in the Total column:

At the top of the page the Total amount is displayed for all projects combined, as well as the Budget left.

At the bottom of the page, the Grand Total displays the amount for Planned versus Used hours for all resources per project combined.

The planned amount comes from the booked or reserved hours for the resources at project level via the Workload Sheet.

To view the hours, click Hours:

The Hours view displays the actual versus the planned hours per month and the sub total is calculated in the Total column:

At the top of the page, the total hours are displayed for all projects combined, as well as the hours remaining.

The Grand Total in this view displays Planned versus Used hours for all resources combined per project:

To view the tasks, click Tasks:

This view will show the total tasks assigned to the resources with a due date but excluding milestones.

The Grand Total in this view displays the total tasks for all resources per projects combined.

You can switch easily to the next or previous year by clicking on the arrows.

The right side of the page, displays the filter which can be used to leverage data per customer and stage of the project.

  • Customer: From the drop-down list, select the customer you would like to filter on. Once the customer is selected only projects related to this customer will be displayed.

  • Stage: From the drop-down list, select the project stage, to narrow down the results.
