In the following video you will get an overview of the resource workload in PSOhub. To get a complete understanding, please take a look at the rest of the article below.

The Resource Workload will provide you with:

  • The overall total and remaining capacities of your organization.

  • For each resource the number of planned hours/tasks and booked (used) hours/assigned tasks per month.

  • The ability to plan your resources on a project (see related article).

The Resource Workload will display each available resource's totals and allow you to zoom into a resource to see which projects they are planned for, the hours planned and also the used hours.

Choose from the menu Resources and Resource Workload.

The first two columns displays the following information:

  • Resource: All the users in your organization and business units will be displayed here.

  • Used capacity: Used capacity will be indicated by the progress bar.

By default, the Amount view is displayed. This view displays for each resource the value related to all the hours booked and planned.

The actual amount will be displayed per month and the first column will give you the total value of Planned and Used hours. The orange amount indicates that the Used hours amount has exceeded the Planned/Budgeted amount. For example, Nancy Drew used a total of 4K worth of hours, where 0 hours were planned/budgeted:

At the bottom of the page, the Grand Total displays the amount for Planned and Used hours for all resources combined.

The planned amount comes from the budgeted hours for the resources at Project level using the Workload Sheet.

Change the view to hours by clicking Hours:

This view will show the total of actual hours booked per resource.

These hours will only be displayed in the Used row per resource.

The Grand Total in this view displays the Planned and Used hours for all resources combined.

Change the view to Tasks by clicking on Tasks.

This view will show the total tasks assigned to the resources, with due date and excluding milestones.

Click on the sub total tasks and a pop-up window will open. Here, you will see which tasks have been assigned to the resource, what priority the tasks have and if there are tasks overdue:
