Tags (or keywords) can be applied to Quotes so that they can be easily identified in searches for many reasons, for example:

  • Quote sub-types

  • Product

  • Service

  • Currency

  • Sales stage

By applying tags, you can increase your search capabilities.

Below, you will see that a Quote has the tag Subscription and HubSpot associated to it, to identify the project.

A tag(s) can be created on the fly by simply typing the keyword and pressing Enter to accept it, or selecting an existing keyword(s) from a list based on the Tags settings:

Filter on Tags

Choose from the menu Quotes. The overview will display all projects. When you click on the Filters button, the Tags field is featured:

In the Tags field, you can enter an existing tag (defined in the Tags settings) to filter the projects. In this example, the tag HubSpot has been used. When the tag is entered, it will appear with a green filter button that can be removed to clear the filter:

In the background, the Quotes overview will only display quotes matching the tag. Close the Filter window to see the results:

Search with tags

In the Quotes overview, you can also leverage the Search for finding quotes with tags.

Based on the example above, you can search on the tag Subscription. Enter the tag in the Search field and press Enter:

Below, a partial tag of Sub for "subscription" has been entered and any matching results will be displayed:
