Introduction to approval of hours

In PSOhub, there are two levels of approval for hours:

  • Project Manager approval

    • Users with project manager access level and defined as a project manager in a project will be able to execute the approval of hours.

  • Team Lead approval

    • Users with access level Controller or Admin and defined as a team lead in the business unit will be able to execute the approval of hours.

You can decide to have only one level of approval or both levels of approval. If you choose both levels:

  • The project manager approval needs to be completed before team lead approval.

  • Only hours with both levels of approval will be available for invoicing.

  • Only when hours have been approved by the team lead will the time entries become locked.

The activation of the approval of hours is defined in the Business unit settings.
