In this article, you will learn how to book time on behalf of another resource.

Take a look at the short video below and/or for more information, please read the full article.

In PSOhub, it is possible to book time for another resource if you have one of the following access levels:

  • Admin: you can book time for another resource on any project where this resource is a team member.

  • Controller: you can book time for another resource on any project where this resource is a team member.

  • Project Manager: you can book time for another resource, but only on your own projects, and where this resource is a team member.

There are two ways to perform this:

  1. In the Hours section of a project.

  2. In the Hours overview list

1. The Hours section of a project

Open the desired project where you need to book time for another resource, and in the right-hand pane, under the Hours section, click on Show all related hours.

The project's hours overview appears, click on Create:

In the New registration dialog box, complete the time entry with the necessary information. In the field Resource, use the dropdown arrow to display all the team members of this project, and to select another resource than yourself.

Once you've completed all the fields, click Save.

This time entry will now be displayed. It will also appear in the Timesheet Calendar and Timesheet Grid of the resource.

2. The Hours overview list

Choose from the menu Time & Expenses and Hours:

The Hours overview appears, click on Create:

In the New registration dialog box, enter the Date, Number of hours and Time classification. In the field Resource, use the dropdown arrow to display the list of all the resources and type in the first letters of his/her name: PSOhub will bring you directly to that resource. The Customer and Project fields will then be filtered to only display projects where this resource is a team member.

Once you've completed all the fields, click Save.

This time entry will now be displayed. It will also appear in the Timesheet Calendar and Timesheet Grid of the resource.
