5.3.2 - June 2025 Service Update II

Work (Task) Management enhancements, and other feature improvements and fixes.

Published 30 June 2025

Dear PSOhub Users,

We’re excited to introduce PSOhub 5.3.2, bringing you more intuitive work management. This release delivers improved planning capabilities, enhanced usability, and important fixes to ensure smooth and reliable performance.

New Features & Enhancements

Willow, your new AI-Powered Agent

We’re excited to introduce Willow, the new AI Agent designed to enhance your experience in PSOhub. Willow provides guidance to help articles, answers your questions or transfers you to a PSOhub support team member.

Willow appears on the bottom right of the screen. By clicking on the handle, you can move Willow to another position.

Automatic Plan Numbering

With this update, PSOhub now automatically generates a unique plan number each time a new plan is created. This helps streamline project administration and ensures clear identification and tracking of all plans within PSOhub.

The unique plan number is visible in the plan details and can be used for reporting, documentation, and internal reference.

If needed, the plan number can be manually modified in the Plan Settings or directly within the plan itself to meet your organisation's requirements.

Notifications When Used Hours exceed Planned Effort on Tasks

Assigned team members, the Project Manager, or the Back-up Project Manager will now receive a notification when the used hours on a task exceed the planned effort. This helps you stay on top of project progress and respond quickly if a task requires more time than originally estimated.

You can enable or disable this notification in your Notification Settings under your user profile and preferences settings.

Add a shortcut link to the task

PSOhub now automatically generates a deep link when a new task is created. This link allows you to quickly navigate directly to the specific task, making it easier to share and access task details.

Simply click the Copy button next to the deep link in the task details. You can then paste the link anywhere — for example, in emails, chats, or notes — to open the task directly in PSOhub.

Please note: This link only works for team members of the project plan or Admin users. If someone outside the project team clicks the link, they will not be able to access the task.

The deep link will open the task view directly, ensuring focus on the task without the need to search or filter.

Users who are not team members in the plan will receive this message:

Total Effort Now Visible in Plan Templates

We’ve added a new field to Plan Templates that displays the total Effort of all tasks combined. This gives you immediate insight into the overall estimated effort for a project when using templates.

The total effort is automatically calculated based on the individual task efforts within the template and updates as you make changes.

Improvements & Fixes

  • Add Contract Type and Contract Group Number to Hours Overview and Excel Export
We’ve added Contract Type and Contract Group Number as new columns to the Hours Overview in PSOhub and the Export to Excel function. This provides greater insight and reporting flexibility when tracking hours across projects and contracts.

These new columns help ensure greater transparency and alignment between project hours and contract details.

    • Credit Notes from PSOhub Appear as Negative Values in Exact Online
Credit notes generated in PSOhub are now automatically reflected as negative values when pushed to Exact Online. This ensures accurate financial reporting and alignment between both systems.

    • Changes to OData
      • The Amount column is renamed to Deal Amount in the Projects table.
      • The ContractTemplate reference column has been added to the Projects table.
      • The ContractTemplates table has been added to OData.
      • The Contact_MainContact reference column has been added to the Projects table.
      • The CompanyHubSpotID column has been added to the Companies table.
      • The ProjectNumber column has been added to the Projects table.
      • The PlanNumber column has been added to the Plans table.
    • Fixes:
      • Date period and Resource Filters in the Plan List View
These filters are restored. For the Date period, a refresh of the browser must be executed.
      • Public Holidays do not appear in the Month View (Planned) of the Capacity and Resource Planning
Public Holidays now appear correctly, providing a complete and accurate overview of team availability.
      • The Business Unit of a Team Lead must now be changed via the Business Unit
Changing the Business Unit of a Team Lead can no longer be done under User Management; it must be done via the Business Unit entity.
      • Project names are missing on the Dutch Project dashboard
        Project names are restored.
