Objective

This article explains how to archive a project in PSOhub, what the archiving process does to your project data, and how to view or reactivate an archived project.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager user access in PSOhub.

The project must already exist in PSOhub.

Steps

  1. Open the project you want to archive.
  2. In the top-left pane of the project, select Archived from the drop-down Stage menu. Your updated Project Overview will now be displayed.
  3. You will now see the archived project in your All projects tab overview with a Stage that says Archived. Any contract line, time entry or expense that has not been invoiced can no longer be invoiced on an archived project.
  4. To reactivate an archived project, simply change the project Stage on the left-hand pane of your project screen from Archived to Active.

Result

The archived project can no longer be modified, and hours or expenses can no longer be booked against it. Archived projects are also excluded from Capacity Management, Backlog, Resource Planning and project dashboards.
