Configure the Guest Portal

Learn how to configure Guest Portal branding and default Guest user access

The Guest Portal in PSOhub controls how Guest users experience your PSOhub environment. It allows administrators to define which portal features are available, how information is presented, and what Guest users can interact with when accessing projects and plans.

This article explains how to configure the Guest Portal so Guest users only see what is relevant to them and can interact with PSOhub in a controlled and secure way.

Before You Begin

Before configuring the Guest Portal, make sure the following requirements are met:

✅ You have permission to manage Guest settings in PSOhub (typically Admin access)
✅ Guest users have already been created or will be created after configuring the Guest Portal

Configure the Guest Portal

This section explains how to access and configure the Guest Portal settings in PSOhub. These settings apply globally and define the default appearance and behavior for all Guest users.

Access Guest Portal Settings

To configure the Guest Portal, you first need to access the Guest Portal settings in PSOhub.

In the main menu bar, click the gear icon to open Settings.
In the left-hand menu, select My Organization
Click Guest Settings
Open the Guest portal tab.

 

This page contains all global Guest Portal configuration options, including appearance, branding, and default Guest user access settings.

Changes made on this page affect how the Guest Portal looks and behaves for all Guest users. It also determines the default visibility settings for your guest accounts.

Guest Portal Appearance and Branding

These settings control the visual appearance of the Guest Portal. They allow you to customise the look and feel of the portal so it aligns with your organisation’s branding.

Use the fields in this section to configure the Guest Portal top bar:

Top bar image

Upload an image (such as your logo) to display in the Guest Portal top bar

Top bar color

Defines the background colour of the top bar

Top bar text

Adds custom text to the top bar, such as your company name

Top bar text color

Sets the colour of the top bar text

Top bar text size

Adjusts the size of the top bar text

Top bar text position

Controls the horizontal position of the top bar text

As you adjust these settings, the Preview guest account panel updates in real time so you can see how the Guest Portal will appear to Guest users.

Note: These appearance settings apply to all Guest users and cannot be customised per individual Guest account.

Default Guest Settings

Default Guest settings define the baseline access and visibility applied to all Guest users in your PSOhub environment.

These settings determine what Guest users can see and interact with by default when they access projects and plans.

Access and financial settings

Use these toggles to control default Guest access to tasks, financial information, and invoicing features.

Limits Guest users to task and plan information only

Financial information (budget/invoiced) on projects

Allows Guest users to view project budget and invoiced values

Approve invoices

Allows Guest users to review and approve invoices

Hide effort & used

Hides effort estimates and used hours from Guest users. 


Important: When enabled, effort estimates and logged hours are hidden from anyone accessing the plan through a shareable link.

Menu visibility settings

These settings control which menu items are visible to Guest users in the Guest Portal.
