Import project data
Learn how you can import Project data in PSOhub
You can import project data, hours and expenses in PSOhub. In order to do so you will need to use specific templates (see below) and follow important guidelines. In this article, you will learn how to import Project Data.
Understanding Import Project Data
The functionality of import project data will allow you to create projects and HubSpot service projects with their related data (i.e. contact(s), company, contract template, amount, budget, project manager and project team members with their respective role and rate.
In order to import project data you need to use a specific template (see below) which comes with example data to illustrate how to populate the columns.
Important guidelines regarding the Import Project template:
-
When you have multiple contract lines for a project, make sure you copy all project related data for each contract lines; i.e. all the columns before the Contractlinecount column.
-
If you have multiple project members, you can enter them next to any contract lines within the project (for example Project Z in the template). If you have more project members than contract lines, make sure you copy all project related data for each project member line.
-
The ContractLineCountID column, must have a unique number for each line containing data in the ContractLineName column.
-
The ProjectMemberID column, must have a unique number for each line containing data in the UserEmail column.
-
The ContactCountID column, must have a unique number for each contact; if you have multiple contract lines and had to repeat the project related data lines, then the same contact should have the same number (see project Z in the template).
-
The InternalProject and FixedFeeExpense columns always needs a true or false value, regardless if the line has something to do with an expense, this is an import limitation.
-
If you are importing a HubSpot Service project, make sure that the HubSpotServiceProject column is set to True and the HSCompanyID column contains the HubSpot company ID found in the company record's URL.
-
The order and the names of the columns should not be modified; doing so can cause issues with importing the data.
