Objective

This article explains how to import multiple projects into PSOhub at once using the Excel import template. Use this method when you are migrating existing projects from another tool or need to create a large number of projects without manual data entry.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin access in PSOhub.

Your project import file must be prepared and ready to upload. See Import Projects:               Preparing your import file for guidance on downloading the template and filling it in              correctly.

All companies and contacts referenced in your import file must already exist in                            PSOhub.

All contract templates, users, roles, and rates must already be created in PSOhub.                    Roles must also be assigned to the relevant users.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Projects.
  2. Click Import.
  3. In the Select import type window, click Project.
  4. On the Project Import page, drag your completed import file into the upload area, or click browse to select it from your computer. The file must be in .xlsx format and no larger than 5 MB.
  5. Review the imported rows in the preview grid. Check the Error Message column for any validation issues and correct them in your file before proceeding.
  6. Click Import projects.
  7. Review the confirmation message and click Proceed.
  8. Click OK to complete the import.

💡 Tip: Before importing your full file, test with a small selection of rows first — typically 3            to 5 projects. This lets you verify that the data imports correctly before committing to            the full dataset.

Result

Your projects are created in PSOhub and will appear immediately in the Projects list.

If any rows contain errors, PSOhub displays them in the Error Message column of the preview grid before you confirm the import. Correct the affected rows in your file, re-upload, and import again.

FAQs and Troubleshooting

My project was imported but is not linked to the correct company. Why?
The customer name in your import file must match an existing company record in PSOhub exactly, including capitalization and spacing. Check for differences and re-import the affected rows.

A team member is missing from the imported project. Why?
Each user must exist in PSOhub and have the relevant role assigned before import. If a user email in your file does not match a PSOhub user, that team member will not be added to the project.

There are errors in the preview grid. What should I check?
Check the Error Message column for details on each affected row. Common causes are a company name that does not match an existing PSOhub record, a contract template name that does not exist, or a user email that does not match a PSOhub user. Correct the errors in your file, re-upload, and import again. If column headers have been changed, re-download the template and copy your data into a fresh copy.

I have multiple contract lines for a project. How do I enter them?
Repeat all project-level columns for each contract line row within the same project. Each contract line must have a unique value in the ContractLineCountID column. See Import Projects: Preparing your import file for full guidance.
