PSOhub 2.9.5 - Capacity Overview, Hours in Absence calendar & Custom Project/Quote Numbers

Finally, a visual display of your resources' capacity is there!

Capacity Overview Resource Workload

We've added a new, and default, view for the Resource Workload, from now on called, Capacity Overview.

In this screen, you will be able to see, visually shown by stacked bars, the planned hours and remaining capacity each resource has per month. The light grey will show the available hours while the green will show the already planned hours and orange when a resource has no capacity left for the month.

Capacity is calculated by taking the working hours and multiplying them with the number of weeks that is in each month.

 

Absence calendar - new field to specify number of hours

We've added a field in the Absence record that will allow you to specify how many hours the absence will be. These hours will now reflect back in the Capacity Overview in the period in which they will occur; providing you with the correct capacity of the resource for that month.

 

Custom Project/Quote Numbers

From now on you will be able to change the default project and quote number after it has been generated. To do so, simply edit the property section of the project/quote (left hand pane) and change the number to your liking.

Important Note:

When modifying the project's numbering, the numbering format will remain sequential however it will be based on the original project number sequence; i.e. PRO-2023-100 is the original number automatically generated by PSOhub, if modified to PRO-2023-99.1, the next project created will automatically be PRO-2023-101. The sequence from then on will need to be managed manually.

 

Minor fixes and improvements

  • You can now search on a project/quote/resource name within the workload overview screens.

  • All workload related screens are now more UI friendly for bigger screens and will resize correctly according to screen size.

  • Company Tax ID is now available for the customer in the custom invoice.

  • Files attached to tasks are now shown within the project files tab.

  • The business unit and currency can be changed for a service project as long as there is no amount, budget or used entries in the project.

  • Various Dutch translations have been corrected.

  • The delay of hours booked being displayed in the workload sheet is now solved.

  • Changing the project of an existing time entry will now correctly update the contract totals and workload sheet.

  • Change of resource on a time entry will no longer appear under the original resource in the workload sheet.

  • Pressing the X in the description field of the timesheet grid will no longer revert back all other changes made.

  • The percentage remaining filter has been removed from the Capacity Overview (previously resource workload) as well as Resources List (previously resources capacity).

  • Users marked as "Exclude from resource workload" are now correctly filtered out.
