Objective
This article explains how to set up fixed fee installments in PSOhub so that a fixed amount is invoiced automatically on specific due dates, regardless of hours booked.
Prerequisities
You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub
A project with at least one contract must already exist.
The fixed fee contract line must have an Amount entered before installments can be added.
Steps
1. Open a project and navigate to the Financials tab.
2. In the contract group where you want to add the installment line, click the + icon to add a new contract line.
3. Select Installments from the menu. This will create a new installment line.
4. Enter a name for the contract line in the Line Name field.
5. In the Financials section, enter the total value of the contract line the Amount field
📌 Note: You must fill in the Amount before you can add installments. The installment fields will not activate until an amount is entered.
6. In the installments section, enter the number of installments you want to create in the Add installments field and click + Add installments.
💡 Tip: PSOhub will create one installment row per installment you add. You can add more installments at any time by clicking + Add installments again.
7. For each installment row, fill in the following fields:

| Due date | The date on which PSOhub will automatically generate the invoice for this installment. |
| % | The percentage of the total contract line amount to invoice on this date. The total across all installments must equal 100%. |
| Amount | Calculated automatically based on the percentage and total amount. This field is read-only. |
| Description | Optional label that appears next to the contract line name on the invoice. |
8. Click Save.
⚠️ Important: Once time has been booked to a contract line, the invoice method can no longer be changed. Set up installments before any time is logged against the line.
Result
The fixed fee contract line is saved with an installments schedule. PSOhub will automatically generate an invoice for each installment on its due date.
The contract line appears in the Financials tab with the type Installments. You can edit the due date or percentage of any installment that has not yet been invoiced, as long as the total percentage across all installments remains 100%.
Deactivating a contract line configured with installments will prevent future installments from being invoiced.
