How to create a quote from a deal in HubSpot

Objective

This article explains how to create a HubSpot quote in PSOhub without leaving HubSpot. Once created, the quote opens in PSOhub pre-populated with the deal's company, contact, and name.

Prerequisites

✅You have Admin, Controller, Project Manager, or Sales Rep access in PSOhub

✅The PSOhub integration is connected to your HubSpot account

✅The deal you want to quote from already exists in HubSpot

Steps

Open the relevant deal in HubSpot.
In the right-hand pane, locate the PSOhub Quote section.
Click Create quote.
A deep-link will appear. Click the link to open the new quote in PSOhub.
The quote opens in PSOhub. Review the right-hand pane; the company and contact details from HubSpot are pre-populated. The deal name appears in the quote header.
To update the basic quote details, click Edit in the left-hand pane. To begin configuring the contract and budget, click Quick Start in the middle pane.

Result

A new quote is created in PSOhub and linked to the HubSpot deal. The company, contact, and deal name are pre-populated. You can now configure the contract, team, and budget before previewing and publishing the quote.

Troubleshooting

The PSOhub Quote section is not visible in HubSpot
The PSOhub app may not be installed or connected to your HubSpot account. Contact your PSOhub Admin to verify the integration is active and the app is installed in HubSpot. Alternatively, you may need to add the tile to the deal record in your HubSpot layout editor.

The Create quote button is not available on the deal
Check that your user role in PSOhub includes permission to create quotes. If the button is greyed out, contact your Admin to review your access level.

The deep-link does not appear after clicking Create quote
If no confirmation or link appears, the quote may not have been created successfully. Refresh the deal in HubSpot and check the PSOhub Quote section. If the issue persists, contact your PSOhub Admin.

The company or contact is not pre-populated in PSOhub
The company and contact details are pulled from the HubSpot deal at the time of creation. Check that the deal in HubSpot has a company and contact assigned before creating the quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create more than one quote from the same HubSpot deal?
Yes. You can create multiple quotes from the same deal. Each quote will be linked to the deal and visible in PSOhub independently.

What happens to the quote if the HubSpot deal is updated after creation?
Changes made to the deal in HubSpot after the quote is created are not automatically reflected in PSOhub. You will need to update the quote manually if deal details change.

Can I create a quote from a HubSpot deal that has no company attached?
The company and contact details are carried over from HubSpot at the time of quote creation. If the deal has no company or contact assigned, those fields will be empty in PSOhub. You can add them manually after the quote is created.
