Two-Factor Authentication: How to Set Up and Manage 2FA in PSOhub

Objective
This article explains how to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in PSOhub, including how to configure it using email or an authenticator app, and how to disable it when needed.
Prerequisites
Active PSOhub user
You must have an active PSOhub account.
Authenticator app (optional)
If you plan to use the Authenticator method, you must have an authenticator app installed on your device (such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) before starting.
Steps
- Click your profile icon in the top-right corner of PSOhub.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Personal Information tab of My Account and click Setup Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). The Setup 2FA dialog appears. [SCREENSHOT]
- Select your preferred 2FA method: Email or Authenticator.
- Select how frequently you want to be prompted to enter an authentication code.
- If you selected Email: Click Save. Two-Factor Authentication is now enabled. You will receive a verification code by email each time you log in.
If you selected Authenticator: Click Next. The QR code setup screen appears. - Open your authenticator app and scan the QR code displayed in PSOhub.
- In your authenticator app, open the newly added PSOhub entry and copy the authentication code.
- Enter the code in the Authentication code field in PSOhub.
- Click Validate.
📌 Note: The authentication code from your app is time-sensitive. If the code expires before you validate, generate a new one from your authenticator app and try again.
Disable Two-Factor Authentication
- If you can still login to PSOhub, click your profile icon in the top-right corner.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Personal Information tab of My Account and click Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). The Setup 2FA dialog appears.
- In the My Account dialog box, scroll to the bottom and click Disable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- To confirm click Proceed. Click Save.
- If you have lost access to your authenticator device or are experiencing issues with your authenticator app and cannot log in, you will need to contact the PSOhub support team for assistance.
⚠️ Important: Do not attempt to reset 2FA yourself if you are locked out. Raise a support ticket via Live Chat at the bottom right of your screen, so the support team can verify your identity and restore access securely.
Result
Two-Factor Authentication is enabled or disabled on your PSOhub account according to your preferences. When enabled, you will be prompted to enter a verification code at login based on the method and frequency you selected during setup.
