User Management: How to Edit User Settings in PSOhub
Learn how to update a user's access level, roles, capacity and settings in PSOhub

Objective
This article explains how to modify an existing user in PSOhub. By the end, you will be able to update a user's general details, access level, roles, configuration settings, and capacity schedule.
Prerequisites
You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.
The user must already exist in PSOhub.
Steps
- Click the Gear icon in the menu bar to open Settings.
- Select User Management.
- Click the name of the user you want to modify. The user detail screen opens.
- On the General tab, update any of the following as needed:
- Name — Edit the user's first or last name.
- Email address — Update the email used to log in to PSOhub and receive notifications.
- 2FA enabled — Select Yes or No for two-factor authentication.
- To deactivate the user, click Deactivate.
- To update the capacity of the user, click Update capacity and select from which week you want to see capacity reflected.
- Click Save if you are finished making all necessary changes for this user.
📌 Note: Deactivating a user removes their access to PSOhub but does not delete their historical data.
Access and Roles Tab
Steps
- Select the Access and Roles tab.
- Update any of the following fields as needed, including tags associated with the user that tie them to relevant groups, keywords, etc.
- Click Save if you are finished making all necessary changes for this user.
Configuration Tab
Steps
- Select the Configuration tab.
- Update any of the following fields as needed.
- Click Save if you are finished making all necessary changes for this user.
📌 Note: Enabling Timesheet Required allows PSOhub to calculate utilization and flag missing hours in the Resources and Personal dashboards.
Capacity Tab
Steps
- Select the Capacity tab.
- Adjust Target Utilization % as needed.
- Adjust the user's Available capacity to weekly or monthly.
- Click Update capacity once the fields are complete.
- Click Save if you are finished making all necessary changes for this user.
📌 Note: By default, PSOhub distributes the Working Hours value equally across each working day. Updating capacity here overrides this default for the individual user.
Result
The user's details are updated immediately. Changes to access levels, roles, and configuration take effect the next time the user logs in. Capacity changes are reflected in resource planning and dashboards.
