How to Set Up Roles and Rates in PSOhub

Learn how to create, edit and delete roles and rates

Objective

This article explains how PSOhub Admins can set up, edit, and delete Roles and Rates. Users must be assigned a role with a rate to enter time on projects and tasks. 

Prerequisites

 ✅ You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.

Steps

  1. Click on Settings (Gear icon) and select User Management.
  2. Click on the Roles & Rates tab. As standard, PSOhub delivers a list of roles with default rates. You can edit or delete these pre-existing roles. 
  3. To create a new Role, click on Create Role
  4. Enter the Role Name, Currency, Selling Rate (hourly) and Cost Rate (hourly) in the required fields.
  5. Click Save. The new Role will now be displayed on the Roles & Rates tab. 
  6. To edit or delete an existing Role, simply click on the role in the Roles & Rates tab, make your changes, and click Save or Delete

⚠️ Important: Once your Roles are defined, you will need to assign them to their                              respective users for them to enter time. You can assign multiple Roles to 1 user,                            and 1 user can have multiple roles in the same project.

Results

Your Roles and their corresponding Rates are now configured in PSOhub.
