Objective

This article explains how to create roles with non-base currency rates and assign them to users. Once configured, these roles allow team members to log time correctly against projects that run in a currency other than your organization's default.

Prerequisites

✅ You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.

✅ The required currency must already be configured in your organization settings before           you create roles that use it.

Part 1: Create Roles For Each Currency

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings (gear icon) and select User Management.
  2. Navigate to the Roles & Rates tab. Click Create Role.
  3. In the Role field, enter a name for the role (for example, Consultant).

       4.  Open the Currency drop-down and select the required currency.

       5.  Enter the Selling Rate and Cost Rate for the role.

       6.  Click Save. The role appears in the roles list.

       7.  Repeat steps 2–6 for every additional role you need to create in this currency.

📌 Note: When a project is created and a currency is selected, only roles matching that                currency will appear as options. Roles using your organization's base currency will not            appear in projects set to a different currency.

Part 2: Assign Currency Roles to Users

Once your roles are created, assign them to the team members who will work on the relevant projects.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings (gear icon) and select User Management.
  2. Select an existing user from the list or invite a new user if needed.
  3. In the Access & Roles section of the user profile, select the new currency role from the Role drop-down menu.
  4. Click Save. The assigned role appears in the Role field for that user.
  5. Repeat steps 2–4 for all team members who need to be assigned to multi-currency projects.

Result

The currency-specific roles are now created and assigned to your team. When a project is configured with the matching currency, these roles will be available for selection during project setup, enabling your team to book time and track costs correctly against that project.

Roles created in a different currency do not appear in projects using the organization's base currency, and vice versa.
