How to Configure the Guest Portal in PSOhub

Learn how to set up Guest Portal branding and default Guest user access settings in PSOhub

Objective

This article explains how to configure the Guest Portal in PSOhub — including branding, default access settings, and menu visibility — so Guest users only see what is relevant to them when accessing projects and plans.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.

Guest users have been created or will be created after the Guest Portal is configured.

How to Access Guest Portal Settings

Steps

  1. Click the Gear icon in the main menu to open Settings.
  2. Select User Management.
  3. Click the Guest Settings tab.

📌 Note: All global Guest Portal configuration options are on this page. Changes made                here affect the appearance and default behavior of the Guest Portal for all Guest                    users.

How to Configure Guest Portal Branding

Steps

  1. Use the fields in this section to customize the top bar of the Guest Portal to match your organization's branding.

Field Description
Top bar image Upload an image (such as your logo) to display in the Guest Portal top bar by clicking on Edit logo.
Top bar color Sets the background color of the top bar.
Top bar text Adds custom text to the top bar, such as your company name.
Top bar text color Sets the color of the top bar text.
Top bar text size Adjusts the size of the top bar text.
Top bar text position Controls the horizontal position of the top bar text.

       2.    As you adjust these settings, the Preview guest account panel updates in real time so you                         can see how the Guest Portal will appear to Guest users.

📌 Note: Appearance settings apply to all Guest users and cannot be customized per                    individual Guest account.

How to Configure Default Guest Access Settings

Default Access settings define the baseline access and visibility applied to all Guest users in your PSOhub environment. Use these toggles to control what Guest users can see and interact with by default when accessing projects and plans.

Access Settings Guests & Visitors

Setting Description
Tasks and plans only Limits Guest users to task and plan information only.
Financial information (budget/invoiced) on projects Allows Guest users to view project budget and invoiced values.
Approve invoices Allows Guest users to review and approve invoices.
Hide effort & used Hides effort estimates and used hours from Guest users.

⚠️ Important: When Hide effort & used is enabled, effort estimates and logged hours are          hidden from anyone accessing the plan through a shareable link — not just Guest users.

Menu Items

Use these toggles to control which tabs are visible to Guest users in the Guest Portal.

Setting Description
Hide Team tab Hides the Team tab from Guest users.
Hide Conversations tab Hides the Conversations tab from Guest users.
Hide Files tab Hides the Files tab from Guest users.

Result

The Guest Portal is configured with your organization's branding and default access settings. All Guest users will see the updated portal appearance and have the default access level you have defined. Individual Guest user settings can be adjusted at the account level if different access is needed for specific users.
