Product Categories in PSOhub help you organize your products and services into logical groups. Categorizing products makes it easier to maintain price lists, select products when creating quotes and projects.

Create a product category
The Admin access level user should go to the global settings and click on the Gear icon:
Next, go to the Products > Product Categories menu:
In the Product categories screen, click the Create category button:
In the following window, enter the name of your product category and click Save:
The product category will appear in the overview list:
Once created, this product category can be assigned to new products to ensure they are properly grouped within PSOhub.
Modify a product category
You can modify an existing Product Category in PSOhub at any time. This helps keep your product catalog accurate and aligned with your organization’s evolving structure and offerings.
Select the product category, modify the name and click Save.
Delete a product category
You can delete a product category in PSOhub if it is no longer needed or relevant. Deleting unused categories helps keep your product catalog organized and easier to manage.
Before deleting a category, make sure:

No active products are still assigned to it.

The category is not being used in any active price lists, quotes, or projects.
If a category is still in use, you will need to reassign those products to another category before deletion.
Select the product category, and click Delete.
The Confirmation message will appear:
Click OK.
The deleted product category will be removed from the list.
