  • Project Manager

Objective

This article explains how to connect your individual PSOhub account to the Microsoft Teams integration. You must complete this step before you can link a project to a Teams channel or receive alerts.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub.

Your organization must have the Microsoft Teams integration available in the                               Marketplace.

You must have an active Microsoft 365 account with access to Microsoft Teams.

If your organization requires admin approval for app connections, your Azure Global              Admin must approve the integration before you can connect.

Steps

  1. Click your profile icon in the top navigation bar and open your personal profile.
  2. Click the Marketplace tab.
  3. Locate Microsoft Teams and click Connect.

⚠️ Important: A warning message will appear. Read it carefully before proceeding. The              user configured as Project Manager on a project must have the rights to create teams            and channels in Microsoft Teams and to add new members. If they do not have these              rights, errors will occur on the Microsoft Teams side.

       4.    Click Connect to confirm.

       5.    A Microsoft permissions screen will appear. Click Accept.

📌 Note: If you do not have the required Azure permissions to accept the app, contact                  your organization's Azure administrator. They will need to either approve the                              connection or update who is allowed to accept apps in your Azure tenant. For best                    results, a Global Admin should connect and allow all users to proceed.

Result

Your PSOhub account is now connected to Microsoft Teams. You can proceed to connect a project to a Teams channel and configure alerts and activity notifications.

Troubleshooting

I clicked Connect but nothing happened.
Your organization may require admin approval before the connection can be established. Contact your Azure Global Admin and ask them to approve the PSOhub application in your Azure tenant.

I accepted the permissions but was not redirected back to PSOhub.
Close the browser tab and return to PSOhub manually. Check the Marketplace tab in your profile — if the connection was successful, the status will show as connected.

I do not see the Marketplace tab in my profile.
Your account may not have the required access level. Confirm with your PSOhub Admin that your user role is set to Admin, Controller, or Project Manager.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does every user need to connect their own account?
Yes. Each user who wants to use the Microsoft Teams integration must connect their individual PSOhub account. The connection is not shared across users.

Can I connect using a shared or service account?
We recommend connecting with the account of the user who will act as Project Manager on projects. PSOhub uses the Project Manager's connected account to create Teams channels and send alerts. If no Project Manager is set on a project, the integration will not proceed.

What happens if I disconnect my account later?
Disconnecting your account will prevent PSOhub from sending alerts and activities to any Teams channels linked through your account. Existing channels will not be deleted in Teams.
