Objective

This article explains how to link an existing PSOhub project to a HubSpot deal and HubSpot company. You do this with the project import template and the Update existing projects option.

Prerequisities

You must have Admin access on PSOhub.

HubSpot must be connected to PSOhub.

The project must already exist in PSOhub and must not already be linked to a HubSpot           deal.

The HubSpot deal and HubSpot company you want to link to must already exist in                      HubSpot.

Download the Import Template

Steps

  • Open the Import Projects: Preparing Your Import File article.
  • Click Download the PSOhub project import template.
  • Open the template in Excel.
  • Delete the example data in the template. Keep the column headers exactly as they are.

⚠️ Important: Do not rename, remove, or reorder any columns. The import fails if the                  column headers do not match the template.

Enter the Project Details

Steps

  1. Open the project in PSOhub that you want to link to a HubSpot deal.
  2. Check that the project is not already linked to a HubSpot deal.
  3. Enter the project details in the first empty row of the template. Copy each value exactly as it appears on the project in PSOhub.
  4. For a full description of every column, view field definitions.

🚨 Warning: The import overwrites the project with the values in your file. If a value is                    different from what is on the project, the project data will change. Check every value              against the project before you import.

Add the HubSpot Deal and Company IDs

Steps

  1. Open the HubSpot deal that you want to link to the project.
  2. Copy the deal ID.
  3. Paste the deal ID into the DealID column. Do not include any slashes.
  4. Enter false in the HubSpotServiceProject column.
  5. Open the HubSpot company linked to the deal.
  6. Copy the company ID from the company record URL.
  7. Paste the company ID into the HSCompanyID column.
  8. Check every value in the row against the project in PSOhub.
  9. Save the file.

Import the File and Update the Project

Steps

  1. Go to Projects and click Import.
  2. Click Projects.
  3. Select your saved import file.
  4. Review the imported row and check that every value is correct.
  5. Click Import Projects.
  6. Select Update existing projects.

⚠️ Important: Always select Update existing projects. If you select Create new projects,          PSOhub creates a duplicate project instead of linking the existing one.

Result

The existing PSOhub project is now linked to the HubSpot deal and HubSpot company. You can open the HubSpot deal directly from the project, and activity on the project syncs to the activity feed on the HubSpot deal.

Any project values that were different in your import file have been overwritten on the project.
