Objective

This article explains how to set Amount and Budget values on contract lines in a multicurrency project, and how to switch between the project currency and your organization's base currency in PSOhub.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub.

A project using a different currency must already be created.

A contract template must already be applied to the project.

Steps

  1. Open the project that is using a different currency.
  2. Navigate to the Contract section of the project.
  3. Click on a contract line to open it for editing.
  4. Update the Amount and Budget fields to the correct values in the project currency.
  5. Click outside the field or press Enter to save the change. The Subtotal and Total fields update automatically to reflect the new values in the project currency.
  6. Repeat steps 3–5 for each contract line that requires a value.
  7. To view the contract in your organization's base currency, click the ellipsis (…) button at the top of the contract section.
  8. Select Company currency from the dropdown.
📌 Note: Selecting Company currency switches the display only. It does not change the                currency in which the contract is stored or invoiced.

Result

Each contract line now shows the correct Amount and Budget values in the project currency. The Subtotal and Total fields reflect the updated totals. You can toggle between the project currency and your organization's base currency at any time using the ellipsis menu.

Troubleshooting

The Subtotal and Total fields are not updating.
Ensure you have clicked outside the field or pressed Enter after entering the value. If the values still do not update, refresh the page and reopen the contract line.

I cannot see the Company currency option in the ellipsis menu.
This option is only available when the project is using a currency that differs from your organization's base currency. Confirm that the project was created with a different currency applied.

The Amount field is not editable.
Contract lines may be locked if the project is in a closed or archived stage, or if you do not have the required access level. Contact your PSOhub Admin to confirm your permissions and the project stage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change the currency of a project after it has been created?
No. The currency is set when the project is created and cannot be changed afterward. If the wrong currency was applied, you will need to create a new project with the correct currency.

Does switching to Company currency affect invoicing?
No. The Company currency view is for display purposes only. All invoices are generated in the project currency unless a different setting has been configured by your Admin.

Can different contract lines within the same project use different currencies?
No. All contract lines within a project use the currency set for that project.
