Objective
This article explains how to find HubSpot upsell opportunities with Claude or ChatGPT. You see the customers you own in HubSpot whose project in PSOhub is nearly finished, while there is no next deal in HubSpot yet.
Prerequisites
The MCP connector is active on your organization.
An Admin has enabled the MCP connector for your organization.
Your AI assistant is connected.
Your AI assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) should be connected to PSOhub.
See How to Connect Claude to PSOhub or How to Connect ChatGPT to PSOhub.
You have access to HubSpot.
To run this Agentic AI Insights recipe, you must have access to HubSpot.
Your PSOhub and HubSpot accounts are connected.
PSOhub must be connected to HubSpot, so customers and projects can be matched between the two. See HubSpot CRM: How to Connect to PSOhub.
The HubSpot connector is turned on in your AI assistant.
Turn on both the PSOhub and the HubSpot connector in your Claude or ChatGPT account.
Steps
-
Copy the prompt exactly as written:
-
I have a meeting with [customer] on [date]. Give me the full picture and an agenda.
From HubSpot: our contacts and when we last spoke to each, open deals with stage and close date, deals won and lost in the last [24] months with the reasons, and recent tickets or activity that went quiet.
From PSOhub: their projects, active and recently closed, where each stands on budget and timeline, what we delivered in the last [6] months, WIP, outstanding invoices, and how they pay.
Then connect the two: does what we sold match what we delivered and invoiced, is work running without a deal behind it, are there open deals while delivery is in trouble, do projects end in the next [3] months with nothing in the pipeline, and is there anything awkward, such as an overdue invoice while we ask them to sign something new.
End with an agenda in order of priority: per item what to raise, why, what I want out of it, and what to be careful about. Put the awkward points near the top. If the two systems disagree, say so rather than picking one.
Show it as a one-page briefing with the agenda at the end. Use tables for contacts, deals, projects and invoices, and for the agenda. Link every project, customer, deal and person to PSOhub or HubSpot. - Replace [customer] with the customer's name and [date] with the date of the meeting.
- Optional: change the other numbers in square brackets, [24], [6] and [3] months.
- Paste the prompt into Claude or ChatGPT and send it.
Result
You get a one-page briefing with the customer's contacts, deals, projects and invoices, and where sales and delivery do not match. It ends with an agenda in order of priority.
💡 Tip: Ask a follow-up question, for example:
- Give me a one-page version, I am on my way.
- What should I not bring up?
- Draft the follow-up email after the meeting.
