Remove a Business Unit: How to Delete a Business Unit in PSOhub

Objective

This article explains how to delete a business unit in PSOhub and what conditions must be met before deletion is possible.

Prerequisites

The following conditions must all be met before a business unit can be deleted:

Eligible Access
        You must have Admin access in PSOhub.
 
Associated Users Reassigned
        All users must have been reassigned to another business unit
 
No Team Lead Assigned
        No team lead is assigned to the business unit
 
No Associated Child Business
        No child business units are associated with it
 
No Associated Projects
        No projects have been created under this business unit
 
No Associated Timesheets or Expenses
        No timesheets or expenses have been logged against this business unit 

🚨 Warning: Deletion is immediate and permanent. Make sure all the conditions above                are met before proceeding.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings (gear icon) and select Organization.
  2. Navigate to the Business Units tab.
  3. Click the Delete button (trashcan icon) next to the business unit you want to delete. A Confirmation dialogue box appears.
  4. Click Proceed. The business unit is immediately and permanently deleted.

Result

The business unit is removed from your organization. This action cannot be undone. Any users, projects, or data that were not reassigned before deletion may be affected. Make sure all prerequisite steps are completed before deleting.
