How to Increase Standard (Global) Rates in PSOhub?

Learn how to update the default global billing rates in PSOhub so all future quotes and projects automatically reflect your new pricing

PSOhub Administrators responsible for managing roles, billing rates, and pricing settings.

Objective

This article explains how to increase the standard (global) billing rates in PSOhub using the Increase Rates % feature. Updating these rates ensures that future quotes and projects automatically use the updated pricing.

Prerequisites

  • You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.

  • The roles and rates must already be configured in the system.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Settings (Gear icon) and select Roles & Rates.

  2. Click Increase Rates.

  3. Select Standard Rates.

  4. Select the roles for which you want to increase the standard rate. You may apply filters to reduce the selection.
    💡Tip: To clear the selected roles, click Clear selection at the bottom of the window. You may need to scroll to the end of the list.
  5. Click Step 2: Increase by %.
  6. Enter the percentage you want to increase the Selling rate and/or Cost rate by.
  7. Click Calculate.

    The Rate (New) and/or Cost Rate (New) columns will display the increased rates.

     📌 Note: If 0% is entered for either the sales rate or cost rate, the existing rate will be displayed in the (New) column.
  8. Click Confirm & Increase rates.
  9. A confirmation message will appear. Click Proceed.
    Click Proceed to update the standard rates with the new rate.
  10. The following message will appear once the selected rates have been updated. Click OK.

  11. An audit of when the rates were last increased is stored:
    Date when the Standard rates were last increased.

Result

The default global rates are updated for the selected roles. These new rates will automatically apply to future quotes and newly created projects.

Existing projects are not affected by this change.
