Slack Integration: How to Connect PSOhub to Slack

Connect your PSOhub organization to Slack to receive project alerts and activity updates

Objective

This article explains how to connect your PSOhub organization to Slack using the Marketplace. Once connected, PSOhub can send project alerts and activity notifications directly to your Slack workspace.

Prerequisites

 You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub.

You must have permission to install apps in your Slack workspace.

Steps

  1. Click the gear icon in the main menu to open Settings.
  2. Select Marketplace from the organization settings.
  3. Locate the Slack tile and click Connect.
  4. You will be redirected to the Slack permissions screen. Review the requested permissions.
  5. Click Allow to authorize the connection.
  6. You will be redirected back to PSOhub. A success message will confirm that the connection is active.

📌 Note: If you do not see the success message, refresh the page and check the Slack tile in Marketplace to confirm the connection status.

Result

Your PSOhub organization is now connected to Slack. You can begin linking individual projects to Slack channels to route alerts and activity updates to your team.

Troubleshooting

The Slack permissions screen did not appear after clicking Connect.
Check that your browser is not blocking pop-ups for PSOhub. Allow pop-ups and try again.

The connection succeeded but I cannot see any Slack notifications.
Notifications appear once a project has been linked to a Slack channel. See Slack integration: How to connect a project to a Slack channel to set this up.

I do not have permission to install apps in Slack.
Contact your Slack workspace administrator to grant app installation permissions before attempting the connection.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can multiple Slack workspaces be connected to one PSOhub organization?
To validate — the current source material does not confirm whether multiple workspaces are supported. Check this against the Lucid environment before publishing.

Does connecting Slack affect any existing PSOhub settings?
No. Connecting Slack only enables the integration. No alerts are sent until a project is linked to a channel.
