Objective
This article explains the Project Portfolio dashboard in PSOhub — what data it displays, how to access it, and how each section helps you monitor the financial health and progress of your projects.
Introduction
The Project Portfolio dashboard gives project managers and administrators a real-time overview of all projects they manage in PSOhub. It brings together key financial indicators, project health signals, activity feeds, and a status chart in one centralized view.
Use this dashboard to quickly assess where your portfolio stands, identify projects that need attention, and stay informed about recent activity across your projects.
Accessing the Project Portfolio dashboard
The Project Portfolio dashboard is available to users with the Admin or Project Manager access level.
To open it:
- Click Reports in the top navigation bar.
- Select Project Portfolio from the left sidebar.
📌 Note: Depending on your access level, you may also see Financial Summary, Resource & Capacity, and Personal Summary in the left sidebar. Each dashboard is scoped to your role and the projects you manage.
The Overview tiles
At the top of the Project Portfolio dashboard, five KPI tiles display a financial summary across all your projects.
| Tile | Description |
|---|---|
| Number of Active Projects | The total count of projects currently at the Active stage |
| Active Projects Total Value | The combined total project value of all Active-stage projects |
| Total Amount Invoiced | The total value of all invoices with a status of Approved, Sent, or Paid |
| Total Amount Paid | The total value of all invoices with a status of Paid |
| Total Amount Outstanding | The total value of all invoices with a status of Sent for which the due date has passed |
📌 Note: Total Amount Outstanding is highlighted in orange when there is an amount due, making it easy to spot at a glance.
My Projects
The My Projects table lists all projects where you are assigned as the Project Manager. Each row shows the project name, assigned project manager, and key financial and health metrics.
📌 Note: A project is marked At Risk when the Used/Budget ratio reaches 80% or higher. It becomes Critical when that ratio reaches 90% or higher.
Project Status chart
The Project Status chart on the right side of the dashboard displays the number of projects broken down by stage: Proposal, Active, and Closed.
Use this chart to get a quick sense of how your pipeline and active workload compare, and whether a significant number of projects are nearing closure.
Activities
The Activities section at the bottom of the dashboard shows a feed of recent events across your projects. It is divided into two panels.
Project Activities A chronological list of system-generated events across all projects you manage, such as invoices created, projects created, and plan templates imported. Each entry shows the event description and the date it occurred.
My Activities A list of activities from the activity feeds of projects where you are the project manager. This panel reflects actions and updates logged directly in the project activity tab.
Keeping data current
The dashboard displays a timestamp in the top right corner showing when data was last updated.
Two buttons are available to control data freshness:
- Update data — refreshes the dashboard with the latest project data
- Create Snapshot — saves the current state of the dashboard as a point-in-time snapshot for reference or comparison
