Objective
This article explains what the Personal Summary dashboard in PSOhub shows, how each metric and section is calculated, and how you can use it to stay on top of your work and performance.
Introduction
The Personal Summary is your individual performance view in PSOhub. It gives you a real-time snapshot of how your time is being spent — across projects, internal work, absence, and holiday — and shows you what is coming up in your task list.
Every user in PSOhub has access to their own Personal Summary. The data it displays is specific to you and updates based on your logged time, scheduled absences, and active project assignments.
You can also create snapshots to capture the state of your summary at a specific point in time, making it useful for personal check-ins or progress reviews.
How to access your Personal Summary
Navigate to Reports in the top navigation bar, then select Personal Summary from the left sidebar.
📌 Note: Depending on your access level, you may see additional report views in the left sidebar alongside Personal Summary, such as Financial Summary, Resource & Capacity, and Project Portfolio.
The Overview tiles
The Overview section at the top of the Personal Summary displays five key metrics for your account.
| Tile | Description |
|---|---|
| Target Utilization | Shows your current utilization percentage compared to your personal utilization target. The figure is calculated from the start of the year to today. A value displayed in orange or below your target indicates you are under your utilization goal. PSOhub calculates utilization based on hours logged to external (non-internal) projects, divided by your contracted working hours per week. Holiday and absence time is excluded from this calculation. |
| Holiday Entitlement Hours Left | The total number of holiday or vacation hours remaining from your annual entitlement. |
| Absence Hours | The total number of hours you have been recorded as absent. |
| Internal Hours Spent | The total number of hours you have logged to projects flagged as internal (non-billable). |
| Hours Spent on Projects | The total number of hours you have logged to external (non-internal) projects. |
The Time Management chart
The Time Management chart displays a monthly bar chart of your logged hours for the current year, broken down by category.
The chart legend shows four categories: Absence, Internal, Holiday, and Project. Each bar represents the total hours logged across all categories for that month, allowing you to see patterns in how your time is distributed over the year.
My Active Projects
The My Active Projects section lists all projects where you are currently an active team member. For each project, it shows the Customer, Project Number, Project Name, and the total Hours you have logged to date.
This list includes both external and internal projects.
My Top 10 Tasks to Do
The My Top 10 Tasks to Do section displays your next ten pending tasks across all active projects. Tasks are ordered with overdue items appearing first.
You can update task status, dates, and effort directly from this list without navigating to the task itself.
Snapshots and data refresh
The Personal Summary includes two controls in the top right corner of the page:
- Create Snapshot — saves a read-only copy of your current summary data at that point in time. Snapshots are useful for tracking personal performance over time or sharing a point-in-time view with your manager.
- Update date — refreshes the data displayed in the summary to reflect the latest logged time and project activity.
📌 Note: The timestamp next to Last update in the top right corner shows when the data was last refreshed.
