Objective

This article explains how to update tasks, mark them as complete, manage checklists and milestones, and create new tasks in PSOhub — from the My Tasks view and from within a project.

Prerequisites

Active account
You must have an active PSOhub account.

Team Member Plus access for more functionality
To update tasks from within a project, you must have Team Member Plus access or                  above.

List View

The List view is the default view in My Tasks. It organizes your tasks into the following categories: Due Today, Due This Week, and Overdue

📌 Note: By default, each task row displays: Task, Project, Start Date, Due Date, Effort,             Used, Remaining, Priority, and Milestone

📌 Note: Default Statuses for tasks include To do, In progress, and Completed.

How to Update a Task in List View

  1. Click on Tasks in the main menu and select My Tasks from the sub-menu.
  2. To move a task from To do to In progress, click the task name to open it and update the Status field.
  3. To mark a task as Completed, follow step 2 or do it directly from the list by clicking the status circle to the left of the task name. The task is removed from the active list. To view it again, apply the Completed filter.
  4. To move a completed task back to To do, click it once from the Completed view. To move it to In progress, open the task and select In progress from the Status field.
  5. Click Save when you are finished making changes to the task.

📌 Note: Tasks and milestones can be moved back to any previous Status at any time.

How to Update a Milestone in List View

Milestones are identified by the milestone flag in the task row and have Milestone toggled ON in the right-hand pane of the Task view.

  1. Click the task to open it and update the Status field in the same way as a standard task.

  2. Click Save.

How to Manage Checklists (Sub-Tasks) in List View

  1. To view and update sub-tasks, click the task to open it.
  2. Checklist appears at the bottom of the left-hand pane of the Task view.
  3. To add a new checklist item, click + Add a checklist item.
  4. To edit an existing checklist item, simply click on it in Checklist and make changes to the name, date range, and assignee fields.
  5. To mark a checklist item complete, click the box to the left of the checklist item name.
  6. To delete an existing checklist item, click Delete (trashcan icon).
  7. Click Save when you are finished making changes.

How to Access Files and Notes

  1. Click the task name to open it.

  2. In the right-hand pane, select the Activity tab. Here you can access and add Notes and Files related to the task.
  3. Click Save.

Grid View

The Grid view provides inline editing, filtering, and sorting across all your tasks. Use this view to make bulk updates — such as changing Status, reassigning tasks, adjusting dates, or entering effort estimates — without opening each task individually.

Update Tasks from Within a Project

If you have Team Member Plus access or above, you can also view and update your tasks directly from the project plan.

  1. Open the project and click on the Tasks tab. You can update status, checklists, and files in the same way as from My Tasks.

  2. To add a task at the project level, simply click the + button in the corresponding task list and enter the information.

Kanban View

When you mark a task as Completed from any view, PSOhub automatically moves it to the Done lane in the Kanban view. This keeps your Kanban board up to date without any additional manual steps.

Result

Your tasks, checklists, and milestones are updated and reflected immediately across all views — List, Grid and Kanban. Status changes, checklist completions, and file updates are visible to all team members with access to the project.
