How to Create an Invoice Report in PSOhub

Learn how to build, filter and export a custom invoice report to track billed revenue, invoice status and key financials

Objective

This article explains how to create an invoice report in PSOhub by filtering the invoices list, customizing columns, and exporting the data to Excel for financial tracking, reconciliation, and reporting.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Invoices in the main menu.
  2. Use the filters at the top of the grid to narrow the data to the invoices you want to report on.
  3. Click Edit Columns in the top-right corner to add or remove fields and set their order.

⚠️ Important: The column order and visibility you set here directly affects your Excel                      export. Columns that are hidden will not appear in the export, and the order of                          columns in the export matches the order shown on screen. Set your preferred column            layout before exporting to ensure consistency.

        4.    Click Export.

        5.    Open the downloaded file from your browser to view the report in Excel.

Working with Excel functions

When exporting invoices from PSOhub, certain fields are formatted as text by default, which prevents Excel formulas such as SUM() or AVERAGE() from working directly on them. These fields include:

  • Invoiced
  • Total ex VAT Base
  • Total ex VAT

To perform calculations in Excel without manually converting data types, use the following numeric-formatted fields available in the export:

Field Use instead of
Invoiced (Excel) Invoiced
Total ex VAT Base (Excel) Total ex VAT Base
Total ex VAT (Excel) Total ex VAT

💡 Tip: Always use the (Excel) version of a field when you plan to perform calculations in              your exported spreadsheet.

Result

Your invoice report is downloaded as an Excel file containing the filtered invoices and selected columns. Use the (Excel) numeric fields for accurate calculations across billed amounts and totals.
