Important: The Gantt chart will not display your project plan without start and due dates. Best practice when creating the plan is to set broad dates for each task list. When in the Gantt chart, you have better visibility to move the time bars to more realistic timelines.
To display the time span of the project, in the toolbar, click the Zoom to fit button:
