Introduction

PSOhub keeps you informed in real time through a connected system of notifications, alerts, and AI-driven guidance. Together, these features ensure that important updates reach the right people — and that you always know what needs attention next.

Notifications tell you what has happened. Alerts highlight what requires immediate action. Agentic AI brings both together, offering intelligent suggestions based on what is happening across your projects.

Understanding how these three elements work — and how they connect — helps you stay in control of your work without having to constantly check every part of the platform.

Notifications

Notifications are real-time messages triggered by activity in PSOhub. They keep you informed about changes and updates relevant to your work, without requiring you to actively monitor the platform.

Common triggers for notifications include:

  • A task has been assigned to you or marked as complete
  • A project has been updated
  • An invoice has been sent or a quote has been signed
  • A comment or update has been added to a record you follow

Notifications appear in PSOhub as in-app messages. Depending on your profile preferences, they can also be delivered by email.

Alerts

Alerts are high-priority notifications that signal something requires your immediate attention. Unlike general notifications, alerts are tied to time-sensitive or risk-related events.

Common triggers for alerts include:

  • A task or invoice is overdue
  • A project budget is approaching or has exceeded its threshold
  • A contract line's completion progress has reached a configured alert percentage

Alerts are surfaced in-app and through Agentic AI, so you can act on them quickly without having to search for the relevant record.

Agentic AI

Agentic AI is an AI assistant built into the platform. It uses the same notification and alert data to give you contextual guidance and suggest next steps based on what is happening across your projects.

What Agentic AI does

Agentic AI helps you stay on top of your work in three main ways:

Contextual highlights Agentic AI surfaces overdue tasks, projects that are trending over budget, contract lines nearing completion thresholds, and quotes that have been signed or expired and need follow-up.

Action suggestions Based on current activity, Agentic AI can suggest next steps, such as sending timesheet reminders, reviewing a draft invoice, or scheduling available resources on a project.

Proactive guidance Rather than waiting for you to find a problem, Agentic AI brings relevant issues to your attention — so you can address them before they affect delivery or financials.

How Agentic AI connects to notifications and alerts

Agentic AI does not operate separately from notifications and alerts — it builds on them. When an alert is triggered, Agentic AI can present it alongside a recommended action. This means you move from being informed to being able to act, without switching between different parts of the platform.

How these features work together

Notifications, alerts, and Agentic AI form a connected layer across PSOhub:

  1. An event occurs — a task becomes overdue, a budget threshold is reached, a quote expires
  2. A notification or alert is triggered and delivered to the relevant user
