Objectives

This article explains how to compare planned vs booked hours for last month with Claude or ChatGPT. You see the difference per person, for one team or business unit.

Prerequisites

The MCP connector is active on your organization.
An Admin has enabled the MCP connector for your organization.

Your AI assistant is connected.
Your AI assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) should be connected to PSOhub.
See How to Connect Claude to PSOhub or How to Connect ChatGPT to PSOhub.

Steps

  1. Copy the prompt exactly as written:
  2.    For [team or business unit], compare planned hours with booked hours in the previous calendar month, per person, in one table. Show the difference (booked minus planned) in hours and sort by the biggest gap.

Keep it short and link every person to PSOhub. If something in the data looks off and I can correct it in PSOhub, mention it in one line at the end, without investigating it.
  3. Replace [team or business unit] with the name of a team or business unit.
  4. Paste the prompt into Claude or ChatGPT and send it.

📌 Note: People need planning and booked hours in that month.

Result

You get one table with each person's planned and booked hours for last month. It shows the gap between them, with the biggest gap first.

💡 Tip: Ask a follow-up question, for example:

  • On which projects is the gap largest?
  • Show the same for the month before.
  • Who is planned for more than their capacity next month?
