Objectives
This article explains how to find planning gaps with Claude or ChatGPT. You see active projects where people booked hours in the last 30 days, but nobody is planned on them next month.
Prerequisites
The MCP connector is active on your organization.
An Admin has enabled the MCP connector for your organization.
Your AI assistant is connected.
Your AI assistant (Claude or ChatGPT) should be connected to PSOhub.
See How to Connect Claude to PSOhub or How to Connect ChatGPT to PSOhub.
Steps
- Copy the prompt exactly as written:
Which active projects had hours booked in the last 30 days but have no planned hours next month? In one table: project, project manager and hours booked in the last 30 days. Keep it short and link every project and person to PSOhub. If something in the data looks off and I can correct it in PSOhub, mention it in one line at the end, without investigating it.
- Paste the prompt into Claude or ChatGPT and send it.
Result
You get one table of running projects with recent hours but no planning next month. For each project, it shows the project manager and the hours booked in the last 30 days.
💡 Tip: Ask a follow-up question, for example:
- Who booked the hours on these projects?
- Which of these are about to end anyway?
- Draft a short message to each project manager.
