GL Accounts: How to Add and Manage Them in PSOhub

Add, view and update General Ledger accounts in PSOhub's financial settings

Objective

This article explains how to add GL accounts to PSOhub and manage the default revenue account for each of your connected accounting integrations.

Prerequisites

  • You must have Admin access in PSOhub.
  • At least one accounting integration must be connected (Xero, QuickBooks Online, Exact Online, SAP Business One, MoneyBird, Sage Intacct, or Bexio).

Steps

View Your GL Accounts

  1. Navigate to Settings (gear icon).
  2. Select Financials. 
  3. Click the GL Accounts tab.
    The GL Accounts list displays all accounts currently configured in your organization, grouped by Financial Integration, with their GL Name / Article / Item / Service / Product and Description.

View or Update the Default Revenue Account

        4.   Click Default revenue accounts. The Default GL Accounts dialog opens. It shows each                         connected integration and its current default value.

        5.   Update the default value for any integration as needed.

        6.   Click Save.

Add a New GL Account

        7.   Click Add GL Account. The GL Account dialog opens with the following fields:

Field Description
GL Account's Name/Code/Article The exact name, code, or article identifier as it appears in your accounting software. Ensure there are no trailing spaces — these can cause mapping failures when sending invoices.
Description An optional label to help identify the account within PSOhub.
Financial Integration Used The accounting integration this GL account belongs to. Select from the connected integrations in the dropdown.
Used in Custom Integration Enable this toggle if the GL account is used with a custom (non-standard) integration.
        8.   Fill in the fields.

 ⚠️ Important: Remove any trailing spaces from the GL Account's Name/Code/Article                 field. Extra spaces at the end of the name can cause the mapping to fail when the                     invoice is sent to your accounting software. 

        9.   Click Save. 

Result

The new GL account is added to your organization's GL Accounts list and is immediately available to assign to contract template lines or project contract lines.
