Objective
This article explains how to review and complete your organization's general settings and default company information after creating your PSOhub account.
Introduction
Once you've created your PSOhub account, the first step is to complete your organization's general settings and default company information. These settings determine how PSOhub displays dates, currency, and time zones, and what information appears on customer-facing documents like invoices.
Access Your Organization Settings
Click the Settings icon in the main menu, then select Organization. This opens the Organization Settings page, which is organized into tabs: General, Default Settings, Business Units, Currencies, Tags, and Subscription.
This article covers the General and Default Settings tabs.
General Settings
The General tab contains your organization's core configuration:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Time zone | The default time zone applied to each new user. PSOhub uses this to determine start and end times for the Outlook calendar integration and the timer. |
| Company currency | The currency selected when your account was created. This cannot be changed afterward. |
| Date and number format | The date and number format selected when your account was created. This cannot be changed afterward. |
| Utilization % | The default target for productive/billable time across your organization. This can be overridden at the user level and is used in the Timesheet Calendar, Timesheet Grid, Resource Workload, Resource Capacity, and Personal Dashboard. |
| Days of holiday | The default number of vacation days for users in your organization. This can be overridden at the user level and is used in the Personal Dashboard. |
| PSOhub Version | A read-only field showing the current PSOhub version running for your organization. |
The left-hand panel also displays your organization's License Plan (for example, Trial or Enterprise, depending on your subscription).
🚨 Warning: The General tab also includes Delete example data and Delete organization buttons next to Save. Delete organization permanently removes your organization.
Once you've reviewed or updated these fields, click Save in the top-right corner.
Default Settings (company information)
The Default Settings tab holds your company's profile information:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Company Name | Your organization's legal or trading name. |
| Domain | Your company's website or email domain. |
| Industry | The industry your organization operates in. |
| Size | Your organization's employee count range. |
| Address | Your organization's street address. |
| Postal code | Your organization's postal code. |
| City | Your organization's city. |
| Country | Your organization's country. |
📌 Note: Company Name, Address, Postal code, and City are used on the standard PSOhub invoice sent to your customers. Complete these fields if you want this information to appear on invoices. If you're integrating PSOhub with accounting software, these fields aren't used for invoicing.
Once you've completed this information, click Save in the top-right corner.
Delete Example Data
PSOhub comes preloaded with example data — contacts, companies, projects, and invoices — along with example Roles and Rates and templates (contract and task board), so you can see how the platform works before adding your own data.
The Delete example data button is on the General tab of Organization Settings, next to Delete organization and Save.
If you delete the example data:
- The example contact, company, project, and invoice records are deleted, along with any transactions posted against them (such as booked time).
- Roles and rates that aren't yet assigned to a user are deleted.
- Templates are not affected. Delete these manually if needed.
