Objective
Understand the two ways HubSpot integrates with a multi-organization setup in PSOhub, and how deal linking works depending on which approach your organization uses.
Introduction
When your PSOhub environment includes a master organization and one or more child organizations, there are two ways to integrate HubSpot with your setup.
The approach you choose depends on whether your business uses a single shared HubSpot account or a separate HubSpot account for each organization.
Two Integration Approaches
One HubSpot Account Per Organization
If each organization has its own HubSpot account, you connect them individually. Each child organization connects its own HubSpot environment directly from the Integrations tab in its own settings.
In this setup, deals from each HubSpot account are only visible within the organization they are connected to. Users can create projects from deals either directly in HubSpot or from within PSOhub.
One Shared HubSpot Account For All Organizations
If your business uses a single HubSpot account across all organizations, you enable the Share HubSpot connection with all child organizations setting in the master organization.
This shares the master organization's HubSpot connection with every child organization. All deals from that single HubSpot account become accessible across the PSOhub environment, regardless of which child organization the user belongs to.
How Deal Linking Works in a Shared HubSpot Setup
When the HubSpot connection is shared, users create projects from deals within PSOhub using the Project Quick Setup wizard.
When creating a new project, the wizard presents a HubSpot Deals field. This field displays all deals in HubSpot that have not yet been linked to a project in PSOhub. The user selects the relevant deal by typing the first letters or scrolling through the list.
📌 Note: In a shared HubSpot setup, the option to create a project directly from within HubSpot is disabled. All projects must be created from within PSOhub.
Key Differences Between the Two Approaches
| One account per organization | One shared account | |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot accounts required | One per organization | One for all organizations |
| Where to connect | Each child organization's settings | Master organization settings only |
| Create project from HubSpot | Yes | No — PSOhub only |
| Child org connects own HubSpot | Yes | No — disabled when sharing is active |
| Deal visibility | Per organization | Across all organizations |
