Objective
This article explains how to add Guest users, Stakeholders, and Contacts to a project in PSOhub so that external collaborators and key contacts have the appropriate level of access and visibility.
Prerequisites
How to Add a Guest to Your Project
Steps
📌 Note: To add a Guest to your project, the user must first be invited via Settings > User Management > Guest Users. See How to Create a Guest User in PSOhub for details.
- Click on the Guest view beneath Team & Rates in the Team tab of your project.
- To add an external stakeholder to the project, click Add Guest. Guest users have limited access controlled by your Guest Portal settings.
- Select the Guest from the drop-down menu. Click Save.
💡 Tip: For full details on Guest user access, see Guest User with Access to Tasks Only in PSOhub.
How to Add a Stakeholder to Your Project
Stakeholders are internal or external individuals who have an interest in the project but are not active team members. Adding a stakeholder to a project allows you to record their involvement and role without giving them full team member access.
Steps
- Open the project and click the Team tab.
- Click the Stakeholders view beneath Team & Rates.
- Click Add Stakeholder(s).
- Click on either your CRM or PSOhub to search and import contacts to add as stakeholders.
- Select the Contact, the Role that describes their involvement in the project, and their Invoicing configuration.
- Click Save.
📌 Note: Stakeholder roles must be pre-configured in Settings > Project Settings > Stakeholder Roles before they can be assigned here. See How to Configure Project Settings in PSOhub for details.
How to Add a Contact to Your Project
Contacts are the people associated with the customer company linked to the project. Adding a contact to a project identifies key individuals such as the primary invoice contact or the main client relationship holder.
- Open the project and click the Team tab.
- Click the Contacts view beneath Team & Rates.
- Click Add Contact(s).
- Select the contact from the menu.
- Click Add to project.
💡 Tip: Contacts are drawn from the company linked to the project in PSOhub. If the contact you need does not appear, make sure they have been created under the correct company in your Contacts module.
Result
Guest users, Stakeholders, and Contacts are added to the project and visible in their respective views under the Team tab. Each group has a distinct level of access and visibility within the project, controlled by your PSOhub settings and access level configuration.
