Objective

This article explains how to download and set up the PSOhub Power BI template so you can visualize your PSOhub data in Microsoft Power BI and build your own custom dashboards.

Prerequisites

Eligible access
You must have Admin user access in PSOhub. Admin credentials are required to                          retrieve all available data.

Microsoft Power BI Desktop
Microsoft Power BI Desktop must be installed on your computer. If not yet installed,                  download it for free from the Microsoft App Store.

Step 1: Download and Save the Template

  1. Download the PSOhub Power BI template: Download Power BI Template
  2. Save the file to a dedicated folder on your computer (for example, \Documents\PowerBI\).

Step 2: Open the Template in Power BI

  1. Open Power BI Desktop.
  2. Click Open Report.
  3. By default, Power BI filters for .pbix report files. Change the file type filter to .pbit to display template files.
  4. Navigate to the folder where you saved the template and open it. Power BI will begin loading the template and prompt you to connect to the data source.

Step 3: Connect to PSOhub

  1. In the connection prompt, select Basic.
  2. Enter your PSOhub username and password.

⚠️ Important: You must use Admin credentials to retrieve all available data. Connecting              with a lower access level will result in incomplete data being loaded.

       3.    Click Connect. Depending on your organization's data volume, the initial data load may take                 several minutes. Once complete, the standard PSOhub dashboard is displayed.

Result

The PSOhub Power BI template is connected to your data. You can now explore the standard PSOhub dashboard or use the loaded data to build your own custom dashboards, tables, and reports within Power BI.

📌 Note: PSOhub provides the template and data connection but does not offer support              for custom Power BI dashboards or reports. For guidance on building in Power BI,                    refer to the Microsoft Power BI Learning Resources.
