Objective

This article explains how to create a project report in PSOhub by filtering the project list, customizing columns, and exporting the data to Excel for further analysis.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin, Controller, or Project Manager access in PSOhub.

Steps

  1. In the main menu, click Projects.
  2. Use the filters at the top of the grid to narrow the data to the projects you want to report on. These include Status, Type, Tags, and more.
  3. Click Edit Columns in the top-right corner to select which columns to display and set their order.

⚠️ Important: The column order and visibility you set here directly affects your Excel                      export. Columns that are hidden will not appear in the export, and the order of                          columns in the export matches the order shown on screen. Set your preferred column            layout before exporting to ensure consistency.

        4.    Click Export.

        5.    Open the downloaded file from your browser to view the report in Excel.

 Working with Excel functions

When exporting your project list, financial fields such as Budget, Used, and Invoiced may be formatted as text by default, which prevents Excel formulas such as SUM() or AVERAGE() from working directly on them.

To perform calculations in Excel without manually converting data types, use the following numeric-formatted fields available in the export:

Field Use instead of
Budget (Excel) Budget
Used (Excel) Used
Invoiced (Excel) Invoiced
Planned Hours (Excel) Planned Hours
Estimated Profit (Excel) Estimated Profit
Actual Profit (Excel) Actual Profit
Total Amount (Excel) Total Amount
Total Selling Total Estimated Pro. (Excel) Total Selling / Total Estimated Profit
Total Amount Actual Pro. (Excel) Total Amount Actual Profit
Deal Amount (Excel) Deal Amount

💡 Tip: Always use the (Excel) version of numeric fields when creating reports that involve          currency, hours, or totals.

Result

Your project report is downloaded as an Excel file containing the filtered project list and selected columns. Use the (Excel) numeric fields for accurate calculations across budgets, hours, and profitability.
