Objective

This article explains how to track time on a HubSpot service ticket in PSOhub. You can log hours manually or use the timer directly from the ticket record.

Prerequisites

✅ You must be a PSOhub user, only PSOhub users can log time on tickets

✅ The HubSpot–PSOhub integration must be active

✅ There must be a Service Project related to the Company

Steps

  1. Open the HubSpot ticket you want to log time against.
  2. Locate the Log time section on the right hand side of the ticket record.
  3. Click Log hours or Start timer.
  4. Enter the number of hours and any relevant details in the log window.
  5. Click Save to confirm the entry.

📌 Note: The timer runs in the background. Click Stop timer when you are done.

Result

Your time entry is saved and linked to the HubSpot ticket. The time appears in the associated service project in PSOhub, visible in the Used column of the contract line created by the ticket.

📌 Note: Admins, Controllers, and Project Managers with financial access can see both                the total logged hours and the financial value of those hours. Project Managers                          without financial access and Team Member Plus users will see total hours only,                            with no financial values.

Troubleshooting

I cannot see the Log time section on the ticket
Confirm that the HubSpot–PSOhub integration is active and that you are a PSOhub user. You may have to add the card to the HubSpot record. Non-PSOhub users cannot log time on tickets.

My time is not appearing in the service project
Check that the ticket is linked to a service project in PSOhub. Each ticket generates a new contract line in the service project when time is first logged.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to be manually added to the service project before logging time?
No. When you log time on a ticket, you are automatically added as a team member in the service project's Team tab.

Does each ticket create a separate contract line in the service project?
Yes. Each new HubSpot ticket generates its own contract line in the associated PSOhub service project.
