Objective

This article explains how to create a plan template in PSOhub — either from scratch in Settings or by converting an existing plan — so your team can reuse consistent task structures across projects.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.

Option 1: Create a Plan Template in Settings

Steps

  1. Click the Gear icon in the main menu to open Settings.
  2. Click on Templates and select the Plan tab.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Complete the following fields:
Field Description
Name Enter a name for the plan template.
Create task lists based on contract template Optional. Select a contract template to use its contract lines as the basis for the task lists in this plan template. Tasks created in these task lists will post time to the corresponding contract line.
Currency Select the currency for this plan template. Defaults to the organization's base currency. Only relevant if multiple currencies are configured.
Description Optional. Enter a description for the plan template. This description is displayed when selecting a plan template in a project or on the Boards.

📌 Note: The plan template name must not contain an apostrophe character (').

        5.   Click Create.

        6.   Once the template is created, your next step is to add tasks and task lists.

  • If you did not select a contract template:

Click + Add task list or Add first task list to create task lists manually, then add tasks to each list.

  • If you selected a contract template:

The template is pre-filled with a task list for each contract line of the selected contract template. Click the + button on each task list to add tasks.

💡 Tip: When you create a plan template based on a contract template, both templates              can be selected together when creating a new project directly in PSOhub.

Option 2: Convert an Existing Plan into a Template

Steps

📌 Note: You can turn any existing plan into a reusable plan template.

  1. In the main menu, click Projects.
  2. Open the project whose plan you want to convert.
  3. Click on the Tasks tab.
  4. Click the ellipsis (...) button.
  5. Select Convert to template.
