Introduction

In PSOhub, a company represents the customer or organization you deliver work for.

Company records sit at the center of your customer data. They connect your contacts, projects, contracts, and invoices into a single view of each customer relationship.

Before you can create a project or invoice, a company must exist in PSOhub. Setting this up correctly ensures accurate reporting, invoicing, and overall project tracking.

What is a Company Record?

A company record stores the core information about a customer organization.

This includes:

  • Company name and contact details
  • Address and billing information
  • Tax and registration details
  • CRM identifiers (if connected)

Each company acts as the anchor point for everything PSOhub tracks about that customer.

How Companies Fit Into Your Workflow

Company records connect directly to key parts of PSOhub:

Contacts
Contacts are linked to a company. When creating a project, you select both the company and the contact.

Projects
Every project must be linked to a company. This ensures all work, time, and expenses are tracked against the correct customer.

Invoices
Invoices are generated from projects and billed to the linked company. The company’s address and tax details are used on the invoice.

CRM integrations
When connected to systems like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics 365, companies can be created automatically from your CRM. The CRM ID is stored to maintain synchronization.

Company Addresses

Each company record supports more than one address. This is useful when your customer has separate billing and onsite addresses — for example, when an invoice needs to go to a finance department at a different location from where the work is being delivered.

PSOhub supports the following address types:

  • Invoice address — used as the default billing address on invoices
  • Physical onsite address — used when work is delivered at a specific location
  • Both — a single address used for both purposes
