Guest User with access to Tasks Only
Learn what a Guest user with Tasks Only can access in PSOhub and how they work with tasks and plans
A Guest user with Tasks Only access is designed for external stakeholders who need visibility into task progress without access to financials, internal teams, or sensitive project data.
This access level allows Guest users to view and update tasks within assigned plans, while keeping the rest of your PSOhub environment restricted.
When a Guest user is configured with Tasks Only access:
- They can view plans and tasks they have been assigned to
- They can track task status, dates, and priorities
- They cannot see financial information
This makes Tasks Only access ideal for collaboration-focused use cases where progress visibility is required without broader system access.
My Tasks
The My Tasks page is the primary workspace for a Guest user with Tasks Only access. This is where the guest user can manage their day-to-day work in PSOhub.
From this page, the Guest user can:
- View all tasks assigned to them across all plans
- Create new tasks within plans they have access to
- Review task details, including:
- Status
- Start date
- Due date
- Priority
- Update task status as work progresses
- Filter and organise tasks using different task views (List, Grid, Kanban, and more)
Accessing Plans
Guest users can access plans they have been explicitly assigned to via the Plans list.
From the Plans list, the Guest user can:
- View all plans they have access to
- See high-level plan information, such as plan name, status, and progress
Guest users cannot see plans they have not been assigned to.
Working with Plan Views
When a Guest user opens a plan, they can view and interact with tasks using different Plan Views.
Available Plan Views include:
- List – A structured task list grouped by task list
- Grid – A tabular view of tasks and dates
- Plan – A board view of tasks and milestones
- Kanban – A workflow-style task board
- Timeline – A Gantt-chart visual timeline of task schedules
- Files – Files or external links uploaded to the plan
- Conversations – Internal conversations between assigned Team Members and Guests
The exact Plan Views available to a Guest user are controlled by your Guest Settings.
