Delete a Quote: How to Delete a Draft, Submitted, Declined or Expired Quote

Objective

This article explains how to permanently delete a quote in PSOhub at the Draft, Submitted, Declined, or Expired stage.

Prerequisites

Eligible Access
        You must have Admin, Controller, Sales Rep (assigned to the quote), or Project                            Manager access in PSOhub.

Applicable Stage
        The quote must be at Draft, Submitted, Declined, or Expired stage.

⚠️ Important: Signed quotes cannot be deleted using this process. See How to Delete a                Signed Quote Using the Test Quote Feature for the correct steps.

Steps

Draft None — delete directly
Submitted Revoke first to return to Draft
Declined Revoke first to return to Draft

  1. Only quotes at Draft stage can be deleted immediately. Quotes at Submitted, Declined, or Expired stage must first be revoked to return them to Draft before they can be deleted.  
  2. If your quote is already at Draft stage, skip Step 3 and proceed directly to Step 4. If your quote is at Submitted, Declined, or Expired, you must revoke it before you can delete it.
  3. Follow the steps in Revoke a Quote: How to Withdraw a Submitted PSOhub Quote to return the quote to Draft stage, then continue with Step 4 below.
  4. Navigate to Quotes from the main menu.
  5. Open the quote you want to delete.
  6. In the Financials tab, click the ellipsis (⋯) button.
  7. Select Delete Quote from the sub-menu. A confirmation dialog appears.
  8. Click Proceed. The quote is permanently deleted.

Result

The quote is removed from PSOhub. This action cannot be undone. If the quote was linked to a CRM deal or opportunity, the link is also removed.
