Objective
This article explains how to use My Planning in PSOhub to view your assigned hours across all projects, switch between planning views, compare planned hours against actuals, and — depending on your access level — edit your own planning and add projects.
Prerequisites
You have activated your PSOhub user account and have accessed PSOhub.
Hours have been planned for you by a Project Manager, Controller or Admin.
Open My Planning
Steps
- Go to Resources in the top navigation and select My Planning.
- My Planning opens showing your name, assigned roles, and a full list of projects and contract lines you have been planned on. Holiday, Public Holiday, and Absence entries also appear at the top of the list.
📌 Note: Team Members and Team Member Plus users have read-only access to My Planning. Only Project Managers, Admins, and Controllers can make changes to the planning.
Understand the Planning Grid
The planning grid shows all projects and contract lines you have been assigned to, listed together under the Project/Contract Line column. Each contract line shows your role and the Budget column displays remaining hours against the budget in the format remaining / budget.
The Planned Hours row at the top of the grid shows your total planned hours across all projects for the selected period.
Use the Show All / Only Planned toggle to switch between seeing all assigned projects and contract lines or only those with planned hours.
Use the Search project or customer field in the top right to quickly find a specific project or customer.
Click Filters in the top right to filter your planning by role, business unit, project, or project stage.
Switch Between Views
Before reviewing your hours in detail, select the view that best suits what you want to see.
| Option | Settings | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Time range | Year, Rolling | Controls the period displayed. Year shows the full calendar year, January to December. Rolling shows a 12-month window starting from the current month. Use the arrow buttons to navigate between years or months. |
| Planning level | Month, Week, Day | Controls how hours are broken down. Month shows the year split by month. Week breaks a selected month into individual weeks with date ranges. Day breaks a selected week into working days, Monday to Friday. |
Edit Your Planned Hours
If you have Project Manager, Admin, or Controller access, you can edit your own planning directly in My Planning.
Steps
- Click any cell in the planning grid to enter or update hours for that period.
- To remove a value, enter 0 in the field. Pressing backspace or Delete will not clear the current value.
Add a Project
If a project or contract line you want to plan hours against is not displayed, you can add it manually. This option is available to Admin and Controller users only.
Steps
- Click + Add project in the top right.
- In the Add project window, select the Customer and Project.
- Select the Contract line(s) and the Role(s) you are assigned to on the project.
- Click Save.
- The project and contract line now appear in your planning and can be edited like any other line.
📌 Note: If you are not yet part of the project team, you will be added as an active member with the selected role(s) when you save.
Compare Planned Hours Against Actuals
Once you start logging time against projects, you can compare your planned hours against the hours you have actually booked.
Steps
- Click Actuals in the top-left toolbar.
- An additional row appears under each contract line showing the hours booked. Where booked hours exceed planned hours, the value appears in red.
- Click Planned to return to the planning grid.
Result
You can now view your assigned hours across all projects, switch between Month, Week, and Day views, and compare planned hours against actuals. Admins, Controllers, and Project Managers can edit their planning directly. Admins and Controllers can also add projects and contract lines manually.
