How to Create & Manage Resource Stages in PSOhub

Learn how to set up custom resource stages to define employment status across your organization

Objective

This article explains how to create resource stages in PSOhub — custom labels that define a user's employment status, such as Employee, Freelancer, or Sub-contractor — and how to assign, modify, and delete them.

Prerequisites

You must have Admin user access in PSOhub.

How to Create a Resource Stage

Steps

  1. Click the Gear icon in the main menu to open Settings.
  2. Go to User Management and select the Stages tab.
  3. Click Add Stage.
  4. In the Stage field, enter the name of the new stage (for example, Freelancer or Sub-contractor).
  5. Click Save. The new stage appears in the stage list and is ready to be assigned to resource profiles.

How to Assign a Stage to a Resource Profile

Steps

  1. In the main menu, click Resources and select Resources from the drop-down.
  2. Click the name of the resource you want to update.
  3. In the left-hand pane, click on the blank field beneath the resource's name. 
  4. Select the Stage you want to assign from the drop-down list. When you navigate back to Resources > Resources, you will see the resource's new stage reflected in the grid view. 

How to Modify a Resource Stage

Steps

📌 Note: You can rename an existing resource stage at any time. All resources assigned to          that stage are updated automatically.

  1. Click the Gear icon in the main menu to open Settings.
  2. Go to User Management and select the Stages tab.
  3. Click the stage you want to modify.
  4. Update the name in the Stage field.
  5. Click Save.

How to Delete a Resource Stage

Steps

 ⚠️ Important: Resource stages can only be deleted if no resource profiles are currently                 linked to them.

  1. Click the Gear icon in the main menu to open Settings.
  2. Go to User Management and select the Stages tab.
  3. Click the stage you want to delete.
  4. Click Delete and confirm when prompted.

📌 Note: If the stage is linked to one or more resource profiles, a warning will appear and            the deletion will be blocked. Update the Stage field on each affected resource profile              before attempting to delete the stage again.

Result

Your resource stages are created and available across PSOhub. Stages can be assigned to any user profile in Resources > Resources, giving your organization a clear view of each team member's employment status.
